Indianapolis-based Premier Scrap Processing, LLC has been sold to new owners. Colin Douthit and Adam Helton assumed ownership on Dec. 21, succeeding company founder Mark Imel.

According to a release from the company, Douthit and Helton arrive with a wealth of experience in entrepreneurship and construction. They are dedicated to maintaining Premier’s established values and standards while embracing new opportunities for growth.

Their combined experience in commercial construction and entrepreneurial ventures brings fresh perspectives to the company, positioning it to grow on a national scale.

“Bringing in leaders like Colin and Adam underscores our commitment to ensuring the future success of our company for the benefit of our clients and employees,” said Imel. “We consider ourselves fortunate to have access to their creativity.”

Premier Scrap Processing is set to expand its service portfolio, introducing additional torching and project-based services to enhance its impact initiatives. Under terms of the deal, Premier Scrap Processing’s operations will retain its name and continue to have headquarters in Indianapolis.
