Many in the recycling industry are ready and eager to return to in-person meetings and networking events. ISRI is ready to fill that void, as its annual Commodity Roundtables Forum is set to make its in-person return to Chicago on September 22-24.

Known as the recycling industry’s premier networking event, ISRI Commodity Roundtables Forum attracts processors, brokers, traders, and other scrap recycling professionals from around the world. In addition to roundtables on ferrous and nonferrous commodities, this year’s event will feature a special topic general session on financial risks and asset management.

“Each year, ISRI’s Commodity Roundtables Forum provides recyclers with expert analysis and views into some of the most pressing issues facing recyclers today,” says ISRI Chief Economist and Director of Commodities Joe Pickard. “We are elated to be able to hold this premier industry event in person once again, providing attendees not only with the commodity market insight they need, but ample time for networking with recyclers and industry stakeholders from across the globe.”

Metals prices have hit record highs this year in response to COVID-induced supply constraints and pent-up demand as the global economy continues to recover. This includes global manufacturing, which has been a real bright spot. Recognizing that these same factors require recyclers to be disciplined in managing their cash flow, mitigating commodity price volatility, securing freight, and raising capital, the 2021 Commodity Roundtables Forum will equip attendees with necessary keys for success.

Registration is now open. Current pricing is $395 for ISRI members and $790 for nonmembers. Additional details and the agenda are available online.
