Ray and John Ebbing of Detroit Edge Tool Company.

ISRI member Detroit Edge Tool Company (DETCO) recently announced the changes to their organizational hierarchy. After 40 years of service and 20 years of leading DETCO as one of the primary manufacturers of mobile and stationary shear blades to the recycled materials industry, Ray and John Ebbing are leaving the company to enjoy their well-deserved retirements. Ray and John represented the fourth generation of family ownership.

Effective immediately, the following personnel appointments have been made. Pat Ebbing has been promoted to president and co-owner. Johnny Ebbing has been promoted to vice president of manufacturing and co-owner and Thomas Ebbing joined the business in November 2023 as an estimator. These appointments represent the fifth generation of the Ebbing family running Detroit Edge Tool Company.
